Образовательная настольная игра "Карта открытий" как способ вовлечения учащихся и развития универсальных компетентностей (на примере уроков физики)
The article illustrates utilization capacity of gamification in the educational process to increase student engagement by the example of problems faced by physics teachers in schools. Age characteristics that should be considered when working with high school students are stated. The methodology of the unique board game is presented. Also, the article describes the course of the lesson with its use, and proposes specific questions and physics tasks that can be used in the game. Moreover, the possibilities of applying the mechanisms in other subjects are described as well as creating meta- subject connections, building learning around big ideas, developing universal competencies and planning extracurricular processes, including excursion activities. The game’s playing field and task cards can be printed out and used in class.
