Родительское образование для развития детей: характеристика спроса и предложения
The paper concerns the problem of parental education. The empirical basis consists of data collected through content analysis of the open internet sources and the survey of participants of educational events for parents. Researchers studied the mission, location, status of organizers and formats of parental education. Organizers of parents' courses believe that parents' education responds to parents' need for support, helps parents to orientate themselves in information about children's development, gives positive examples of parenting, improves the quality of life of parents. However, the infrastructure of parents' education is focused, first of all, on parents of preschool children. The social portrait of participants of educational events for parents, organized by the Kazan Open University of Talents, was compiled. Typical visitors are middle-aged women with higher education, whose children attend school. The classification of the formats of parental education was created and tested. Visitors to events for parents show the greatest interest in free offline activities in the city of residence in which parents could act as active participants with their children.
