The article describes the main aspects of Russia's accession to the WTO in the field of agriculture: changes in customs regulations on basic import and export commodities and restrictions on state support in comparison with the USA and European Union. We provide arguments in favour of irrelevance of changes of tariffs on the vast majority of commodity positions, nesessity of special measures for protection of pig farming and advisability of solidarization with Cairns group of agricultural exporters.
