Две клаузы в одном слове: предварительная типология морфологически связанной комплементации

Morphologically bound complementation is a construction where a matrix predicate and the head of its sentential complement constitute a single verb morphologically but retain their syntactic and semantic independence. In this article I consider the main features of this type of subordination in different languages and then discuss where such morphologically and syntactically peculiar constructions can be expected, and which properties of linguistic systems facilitate it.
