Законодательное регулирование противодействия религиозной преступности в период правления императора Николая I
The article is devoted to the problem of legal regulation of criminal responsibility for religious crimes during the Reign of Emperor Nicholas I. The results of the systematization of the regulatory acts establishing grounds for criminal liability and types of punishments for crimes in the religious sphere are considered. The analysis made it possible to conclude that the Code of Criminal and Corrective Punishments of 1845 was a unique, unprecedented legal act in protecting public relations in the field of religion, in the whole history of domestic legislation. The efficiency of the criminal rules of the Code was well demonstrated when public authorities were implementing criminal policy for combating religious crime in the territory of the Russian Empire in the XIX century.
