К вопросу о понятиях и категориях как структурных элементах науки права социального обеспечения
On the basis of theoretical provisions on structural elements in legal science we study the notions and categories of the science of social security law.
To systematize legal knowledge in the science of social security law we give accent to the following: general scientific notion (‘social security’, ‘health care of citizens’); general legal notions (‘medical aid’, ‘medicamental aid’, ‘industrial accident’, ‘occupational disease’); proper notions (‘pension’, ‘employment history’, ‘social allowance’, ‘social service’, ‘hardship’) as well as general legal categories (‘state social security’, ‘compulsory social security’, ‘social protection of citizens’, ‘social service’). As far as scientific knowledge on state social assistance is accumulated, this notion can become a legal category for the science of social security. Besides, the science of social security law can borrow notions from other sciences (for example, conversion, valorization, etc.)
The notions and categories being primary elements of the system of science of social security law, on the one hand reflect quality determination of its object of cognition, and on the other hand, uniting under the laws of scientific knowledge form more difficult scientific constructions. To such constructions in the scientific system in general and in social security law in particular one should refer hypotheses, conceptions, principles, theories, doctrines, scientific disciplines and scientific sub-branches as well as problem scientific fields.
