Темпоральные конструкции следования и глагольная акциональность в мокшанском языке

The study focuses on the adverbial constructions with the meaning of temporal posteriority in Moksha. Existing typological studies on temporal constructions provide various classifications of their semantic subtypes based either on the distance between two temporally connected events or on their aspectual parameters. However in most cases these subtypes are being contextually expressed by the same means and the choice of either subtype depends on complex semantic factors. In this paper we analyze aspectual properties of the dependent verb and its influence on the interpretation of Moksha posterior constructions. Special attention is paid at the difference in meaning between interrupting and limiting posteriority as well as the phenomenon of semantic integration between the clauses.
