Small innovative organizations play a significant role in the technological development of the country. One of the most effective support tool for such projects is venture investments. The development of the venture market stimulates the growth of investment activities in the sphere of R&D and small business, provokes the shift from the extractive to the processing and knowledge-based industry. This paper covers the modern actions taken by the government for venture market capital and suggests the key performance indicators which could be used to measure the effectiveness of that actions.
