The articlee deals with the legislation on sickness benefit. the author conduct a comparative analysis of compliance with Russian legislation on sickness benefit of international sicial security law, paeticularly Universal Declaration of Human Rights, conventions and recommendations of International labour Organisation, European Code of social security. Special attention is paid to the Convention of ILO # 130 (1969) "Medical Care and Sickness Benefits"
