Еhe questions of a ratio of the constitutional doctrine of the Iranian law and institute of presidency are considered in the article. Making a start from the analysis of provisions of the Constitution of Iran of 1980 the, author states existence in it of a legal dichotomy when Islamic religious and theological norms are combined in it with norms of republican constitutionalism. As an important object of research in article the author defined the ratio of institute of presidency with institute the Wilayat al Faqih (The Supreme head) in the prism of theirs formal statuses and actual positions in political and legal system of Iran.

The first decade after the end of the revolutionary events in Gilan (1920-21) was a period of active attempts by the Bolsheviks, the Communist International and the Communist Party of Iran to gain a solid social foothold in Iran.
