Ensuring effective control instrument, development of new methods and improving the accuracy of geophysical instrumentation devices used in exploration of mineral resources is one of the important problems in the mining industry. This paper discusses current research and options for optimizing the electrical and structural parameters monitoring devices neutron yield borehole neutron generator for the respective systems of neutron-neutron logging, for which we have developed and successfully used diamond detectors. Further expansion of the applications of diamond materials in new areas of the economy, especially in instrumentation, will ensure a more rational and efficient use of natural resources.
