Employee engagement is a well-known concept that has become one of the main issues of modern management. Since high employee engagement brings competitive advantage according to a number of academic and consulting studies, organizations are making considerable efforts to create a supportive environment for employees, contributing to their achievements and career growth. Within the framework of this article, an analytical review of academic publications in the field of employee engagement has been made and organizational aspects of this phenomenon, based on behavioral approach have been identified.
The article discusses the problem of understanding the construct of “employee engagement in the organization” in scientific and practical literature. It is shown that the concept of “organizational commitment”, “organizational citizenship behavior”, “organizational identification” and “work engagement” are often seen as overlapping with the construct of “employee engagement in the organization”. There is also a variety of concepts describing the relationship of the employee with the organization, which creates terminological confusion and difficulties for their practical use. It is proposed to merge the concept of “identification”, “commitment to organization” and “work engagement” in a more general notion of “involvement of employees in the organization”. Briefly describe the results of two empirical studies that partly confirm the heuristic character of this approach.
This article discusses the approaches to the interpretation of the "employee engagement" concept which is more widely used in the HRM practices of the foreign and Russian companies Authors suggest to narrow this concept, focusing on behavioural component, and to consider it through a prism of normative and above-norms behaviour taking into account the organizational context. Results of the empirical research on the employee engagement in the Russian travel agency conducted in June, 2014 with the use of qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection are presented in the article.

This article was prepared in reliance on the researches carried out in 2010-2011 and dedicated to the level evaluation of the employee engagement and the social processes in the staff of commercial banks. It covers the issues of the assessment methodology of the employee engagement, the inquiry of the affecting factors, the inquiry of the social processes intensified as a result of the fundamental changes in the bank.
Smoking is a problem, bringing signifi cant social and economic costs to Russiansociety. However, ratifi cation of the World health organization Framework conventionon tobacco control makes it possible to improve Russian legislation accordingto the international standards. So, I describe some measures that should be taken bythe Russian authorities in the nearest future, and I examine their effi ciency. By studyingthe international evidence I analyze the impact of the smoke-free areas, advertisementand sponsorship bans, tax increases, etc. on the prevalence of smoking, cigaretteconsumption and some other indicators. I also investigate the obstacles confrontingthe Russian authorities when they introduce new policy measures and the public attitudetowards these measures. I conclude that there is a number of easy-to-implementanti-smoking activities that need no fi nancial resources but only a political will.
One of the most important indicators of company's success is the increase of its value. The article investigates traditional methods of company's value assessment and the evidence that the application of these methods is incorrect in the new stage of economy. So it is necessary to create a new method of valuation based on the new main sources of company's success that is its intellectual capital.

At present many industries reveal tendency for setting up of vertically integrated companies (VIC) the structure of which unites all technological processes. This tendency proved its efficiency in oil industry where coordination of all successive stages of technological process, namely, oil prospecting and production -oil transportation - oil processing - oil chemistry - oil products and oil chemicals marketing, is necessary. The article considers specific features of introduction of "personnel management" module at enterprises of oil and gas industry.
