Риторика превосходства: аксиологическая перспектива (Барак Обама о крымском кризисе)
This article shows how critical discourse analysis can contribute to the study of values as represented in text and talk. More specifically it looks into the role of values in discursive conflict frame manifestation and out-casting a certain group of actors. The role of values is seen as twofold: as a building blocks of conflict field and vis-à-vis the author’s axiological stance toward that field. The opposing poles of the conflict field are shown to be semantically built up of values and anti-values. As far as the author’s stance toward the conflict field is concerned, the putative reader is aligned into the sole value position of the dominant actor’s group, all other possible value positions, including that of the opposed group, being ‘muted’.
