In the transition to a new classification of the professional training areas and specialties, securing necessary profes­sional stuffing for the socio-economic development of Russia and its regions, the issue of adjusting and coordinating the size and structure of the student admission quotas is among the most important issues. The paper presents the results of forecasting the admission quotas in the medium term, using multi-stage choice models.
