Гуманитарная политика Китайской Народной Республики в Центральной Азии в сфере образования: выводы для Российской Федерации
The article examines the educational dimension of the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) humanitarian policy in Central Asia at the present stage. Drawing on Chinese documents, bilateral agreements, and empirical materials, it outlines the institutional, organizational, and substantive formats of China’s educational engagement with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. It demonstrates that China’s educational strategy employs a multi-level toolkit – intergovernmental tracks, university partnerships, Confucius Institutes, Luban Workshops, and digital programs. The article highlights the specific features of China’s approach in each of the five countries in the region, ranging from large-scale high-tech initiatives to sectoral projects in energy, engineering, and ICT. Special attention is paid to the relationship between educational policy and the concept of a “Community of Shared Future” and the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as to soft-power instruments adapted to domestic political and socio-cultural contexts. Conclusions are drawn regarding the implementation of Russian educational policy in Central Asia, taking into account China’s national interests and potential areas for synergy in the region.
