The mutual understanding in the evaluation of common past, reached recently by Russian and Polish historians, doesn't yet properly reflect in the practice of school teaching. Hence the importance of the bilateral project aimed at the preparation of training aids for school teachers, which started in summer 2013. An interest in the history of Russian-Polish relations formed at secondary school will ensure an inflow of students to relevant departments of universities, including those which work under international double degree programs. Contemporary Russian-Polish relations have a great capacity of development and need young professionals.
