The research is dedicated to an in-depth development of special modifications of EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) inventory management models that allow for both delays in revenue receipt and cargo capacity constraints of vehicles. The primary focus is on the analysis of supply strategies involving several vehicles when discounts are available, the magnitude of which depends on the number of vehicle units used. Within the framework of the work, conditions for the feasibility of simultaneous use of an arbitrary number of vehicles, considering the provided discounts on their cost, have been investigated and proposed. These conditions are based on a comparison of total costs, taking into account the time value of cash flows. The obtained optimization criteria are of practical value for managers making decisions under real logistical constraints and complement the inventory management toolkit.
