Влияние международных санкций на финансовую устойчивость АО «Тинькофф Банк»
The sanctions pressure of the United States and the European Union on our country aims to weaken the Russian economy. In other words, to exclude banks’ operations on the international financial market and, if possible, freeze their assets. In February 2022, sanctions were imposed against Russian credit institutions, such as: disconnection from SWIFT, a ban on international transactions, and asset blocking. As well as the ability to make payments in dollars and euros with American and European counterparties, the termination of work abroad of plastic cards issued by Russian banks, restrictions on lending in the United States and in the countries of the European Union. However, these are not the first sanctions for banks in Russia. Some banks have been operating under sanctions for eight years. In this regard, it is important to assess the impact of international sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation on the financial stability of the banking system on the example of JSC Tinkoff Bank.
