Критика технократии как критика дигитальной культуры в метафизических размышлениях В.В. Миронова

The article examines the ontological approach to assessing the rapid advancement of technology in the research of the contemporary Russian philosopher Vladimir V. Mironov (1953-2020). Among the central issues raised in his articles of the last decade is the phenomenon of technocracy as a key imperative of modernity, and its criticism in philosophical thought which remains committed to metaphysics. Mironov sees in modern digital culture a reflection of the cultural and anthropological crisis of the 20th century. The article hypothesizes that this criticism of technocracy and scientism contains elements of the discourse of cultural critique, which is a characteristic, in particular, of German philosophers of the late twentieth century, representing the so-called “Ritter school”.
