The article discusses the role of the archive digitization in changing the life of traditional radio. Digitizing Sound Archive Radio Liberty updated the historical content of the programs, multimedia technologies allow to visualize the content, add contextual information, creating a retrospective volume and audio programs. Old records get a new sound, a new transmission and heading by using archival records, becoming the literary and historical value.
