К проблеме изучения постойной повинности: взаимоотношения городского общества, полиции и полковой канцелярии в первой четверти XIX в. (на примере г. Новая Ладога Санкт-Петербургской губернии)
The article focuses on the analysis of the relationship of the duma and the entire urban society with the police (mayor) and with the regimental offices of infantry and cavalry regiments that arrived in the city to stand. Usingthe example of the city of Novaya Ladoga in the 1800s – 1820s (documents of the Duma on the regulation of standing), the article outlines: 1) relations between the Duma and the regiment (centralized supplies of buildings, materials, construction work and supplies to the regiment; 2) mechanisms for possible resolution of disputes between individuals, merchants and burghers, and by officers and soldiers of the regiment when stationed; 3) the role of the police chief in regulating relations between the city society and the regimental authorities. The analysis shows that the role of the Duma was great, and could grow during the first quarter of the 19th century; the police chief also helped to regulate billeting, but he often sided with the regimental office and local nobles, which to conflict situations often demanded the intervention of the governor.
