As part of the study carried out in the course of scientific project No. 18-29-14021 "Development of a comprehensive and socially effective system of legal means ensuring effective protection and restoration of the rights and interests of individuals violated in connection with the study of their own genome, the genome of other persons, as well as the unauthorized use of the results of these studies", funded by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The authors proposed the following results: it is necessary to adopt a comprehensive law that would provide for measures of protection and administrative responsibility.
