The study analyzes foreign and domestic experience in the legal regulation of the protection of minors from a destructive information environment. The experience of legal regulation and law enforcement practice of the subjects of the Russian Federation on this issue, as well as the experience of local government and local (at the level of educational organizations) is analyzed. The authors propose mechanisms for improving the legislative framework for the organization of information security of minors, as well as updating law enforcement practice. The results of the study can be used by public authorities and municipal authorities implementing functions in the field of education; representatives of the scientific community, graduate students and students studying undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of Law, Pedagogy, Sociology, Psychology, as well as a wide range of readers.
