University Victoria V. Vertogradova. The almanach is a collection of articles, translations, and essays devoted to various aspects of the philosophy of culture and the history of culture. The almanac is unique in its thematic variety,
wide coverage of the subject area of culture from its archaic layers (the specifics of Cretan linear writing, culture of Ancient India, Ancient Greece) through the European Middle Ages and medieval Japan to the culture of Renaissance
and, finally, to the culture of modern times and modernity. The almanac is intended not only for specialists in the area of philosophy and history, but also for all those interested in the theory and history of culture
