The features of the integration of the intelligentsia into the
new information reality are revealed. The multidirectional, chaotic and spontaneous
nature of this process is noted: at the present stage, the strategy of the
intelligentsia should not be survival in a technologically changing world, but
an interested and active entry into digital reality and the proposal of a positive
action program. The nature and forms of the dialogue between the Russian
intelligentsia and the authorities in the context of the digital public sphere are
investigated. The resources and means of mutual influence that determine the
content of this dialogue are analyzed, its trends and prospects are revealed. The
reasons preventing the establishment of an effective online dialogue between
the government and society are analyzed. It is noted that the function of social
advice remains, perhaps, the most vulnerable point of the online dialogue
between the state and society. To implement it, the most competent groups of
the population, primarily the intelligentsia, should be more actively involved
in the discussion of socially significant problems and projects. The key role of
the intelligentsia in achieving public consensus and in creating conditions for
transparent and productive online communication is substantiated. It is concluded
that the digital public sphere has a good chance of becoming a field of
constructive and productive dialogue between the state and those social forces
that are interested in national harmony, development and prosperity.
