Продовольственная безопасность Китая
The article analyzes the White Paper on Food Security in China,
as well as legislation of the People's Republic of China regulating food security. The author de-
scribes the powers of the executive authorities of China, and concludes that the state's forces are
primarily aimed at preventing threats to food security, and then at combating their consequences.
The coordinated work of the authorities at all levels of the country during the coronovirus pan-
demic is noted, and the problems that stand in the way of China are identified. It is proposed to use
the successful experience of the PRC in Russia. Aim: to identify the reasons for China's successful
food policy. Methods: dialectical, systematic, comparative-legal, formal-legal methods. Results
and conclusions: The People's Republic of China has successfully overcome the food crisis
through the development and adoption of an effective legislative framework and the coordinated
work of the authorities. Modern Chinese legislation has been developing in four directions – digi-
talization, increasing the education of farmers, taking care of the environment and strengthening
control over agriculture.
