Особенности хемосорбции крезола на пористом железосодержащем сорбенте, полученном из углеродного остатка переработки лигнина, Сообщение I. Пористая структура и адсорбционная способность сорбента
The results of studying the porous structure and characteristics of chemisorption of m-cresol on the surface of a new adsorbent obtained from carbon-containing residues of carbon dioxide catalytic reforming of lignin of wood origin are presented. The main stage of the formation of a porous structure is the treatment of the carbon iron-containing residue with carbon dioxide in a plasma-catalytic mode stimulated by microwave radiation. Iron-containing clusters were formed on the surface of the original lignin and used as a catalyst at the first stage of its processing. The sorbent has a developed porous structure. The total pore volume is 0.65 cm3/g, while the micropore volume is 0.18 cm3/g, and the mesopore volume is 0.42 cm3/g. The adsorbent is characterized by a monomodal distribution of adsorption pores over effective sizes with a diameter of 3.8 nm. The in situ dynamics of m-cresol adsorption was studied using IR spectroscopy. It has been shown that during the adsorption process, a chemical transformation of cresol occurs with the formation of Ph-O-C bonds between the phenyl ring of cresol and the terminal (carbon or oxygen) atoms of the adsorbent.
