HSE Scientists Train Neural Network to 'Hear' Faults in Electric Motors
Researchers at the AI and Digital Science Institute of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science have developed a new method—the Signature-Guided Data Augmentation (SGDA) framework—that achieves 99% accuracy in motor fault detection and 86% accuracy in fault classification. The application of this approach can reduce industrial equipment repair costs, minimise downtime, and improve production safety. The study results have been published in Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence.

Советская (российская) социология: шесть профессиональных поколений социологов

Вестник молодых ученых и специалистов Самарского университета. 2020. Т. 2. № 17. С. 16–22.
Слобода Н. М., Лычкина А. В., Абрамов В. О., Титова Д. В.

This article aims to analyze the work of B. Z. Doctorov's «Biographical interviews with fellow sociologists», to reveal the features of the professional generations of sociologists, identified earlier by the author. The article raises the problem of differences in the ways of coming of sociologists of different generations to science, the peculiarities of the topics of their research, issues of the relationship of sociologists with the authorities and colleagues. In this study, an attempt is made to study the features of the «revival» of sociology in Russia and the relevance of this is due to the unique cultural and historical situation that took place in the XX-XXI centuries, when, after the active development of sociology in prerevolutionary Russia, this science is prohibited in the USSR, and reappears in the second half of the XX century.
