Повышение компетентности учителя в работе с социально-эмоциональными навыками как условие развития самостоятельности и повышения благополучия учеников
Globalization, the technological progress, new parenthood results in fact, that along with the achievement of academic results, the development of social and emotional skills becomes significant (SES). The development of SES is one of the conditions for improving the psychological well-being of schoolchildren at all stages of education, and also contributes to the development of autonomy. On the other hand, schools, however, cannot cope with the pace of innovations and teachers do not have sufficient competence in this area. This work contributes to solving this problem. Three stages were sequentially performed in the work: the study of teachers' ideas, the development of a course for teachers, approbation. Based on the data obtained in the survey of teachers’ beliefs, it was concluded that the lack of competence is one of the significant problems in the work of a teacher with SES. Using the 4cID instructional design model, which effectiveness has been confirmed by several studies, an 85-hour professional development program was developed. Topics for the program were selected through a survey of teachers, analysis of normative documents, scientific and classical literature. The combination of practical, research and supervisory approaches distinguishes the course from offerings on the market of training programs for teachers. Based on the results of partial testing, the program received positive feedback, the course was positively evaluated by two experts.
