The modified Whitham modulation theory for transmission line with ferroelectric capacitors
Using the Euler-Lagrange dynamics of the Landau-GinzburgDevonshire functional for homogeneous ferroelectric chain in the spatial continuous limit, (1þ 1)D-nonlinear Klein-Gordon-Fock equation has been derived. Elementary four-terminal network of this ferroelectric chain has been considered as a Hamiltonian system corresponding to the point mass in the effective nonlinear potential. Expressing all parameters of automodeling solution of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon-Fock via energy of this Hamiltonian system we have extended the Witham modulation theory. Obtained results can be applied to the computer aided design of phase shifters in phasedarray antennas for a new generation of information processing and transmission systems based on integrated ferroelectrics.
