К биографии академика М.В. Нечкиной:обзор источников казанского периода жизни.
The article reconstructs the Kazan period of the biography of the Soviet historian M.V. Nechkina (1911-1924). During these years, she studied at the gymnasium and the university, and then began her research and teaching activities. The reconstruction is based mainly on documents found by the author in the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan. The process of M.V. Nechkina's professional development is considered in the context of large-scale events that swept the whole Russia in those years: the revolution, the civil war and the formation of the Soviet state. At the same time, the intellectual context that influenced the formation of M.V. Nechkina's research interests and pedagogical views is reconstructed. Special attention is paid to the figures of M.V. Nechkina's mentors, in particular, P.G. Arhangel'skij, whose research activity is still explored insufficiently. Materials from the archival funds of higher educational institutions of Kazan make it possible to reconstruct in detail the atmosphere in which M.V. Nechkina began her own pedagogical career, to study not only the content of the courses she developed, but also the methodology she used and its evolution. Further investigation of the evidence identified by the author can form the base for the creation of a complete documentary biography of M.V. Nechkina.
