science, like any creativity – the antipode of evidence and routine,
is created by extraordinary personalities who are the first to notice the sprouts of new things or threats arising in mossy stereotypes. The development
of science begins with a careful attitude to talents. It is necessary to cultivate such an attitude first in oneself and in the scientific and pedagogical society, and then in others all the time. But at least
on the anniversaries of scientists whose leadership is obvious, it is imperative to pay tribute to them and see in their works what contributed
contribution to science. Such an occasion is given by the significant date of one of the leading modern Russian jurists Vladimir Mikhailovich
Baranova. V. M. Baranov's special talent to unite
jurists and become their informal leader in solving
real problems of law-making and law enforcement,
as well as his direct influence on the scientific life of the Faculty of Law of Perm University, encourages us to think about the personal qualities of a scientist, about the meaning of legal science.
