Профессионализм историка в исторической культуре первой четверти XXI века
The criteria of the historian's professionalism in the historical culture of post-postmodernity is analyzed.
The aim is to explicate those components of the actual historical culture, methodologically verified reflection on which underlies the professionalism of the historian of the 20s of the 21th century.
Material and methods. The methodological basis of the analysis of the problem is the neoclassical phenomenological concept of source studies, the main principle of which is the principle of recognition of another soul, considered in the unity of epistemological and ethical components. The basic concept of the study is historical culture, defined as a system of obtaining and presenting historical knowledge, forming historical representations, characteristic of a certain socio-cultural community and presented by a system of types of historiographical sources.
Results and their discussion. The system–forming components of the actual historical culture are revealed: philosophical – the post-nonclassical model of science, socio-cultural – the glocalization and manipulative nature of the postmodern society, historiographical – the process of renarrativization.
Conclusion. The process of renarrativization / war of narratives, the complexity of which is aggravated by the discontinuity between scientific historical knowledge and socially oriented historiography against the background of the ongoing process of fragmentation of historical science, requires the historian to understand the goal-setting in the construction of narrative / historical representation, and most importantly – the historian's responsibility to society for the narrative positioned in the public consciousness.
