Статистический анализ конвергенции экономических систем стран ЕАЭС

On the base of Eurasian Economic Union data from 2006 to 2018, we analyzed σ- and conditional β-convergence in the economic growth rates of the EAEU members and trade flows between them to study the leveling of development of the economic systems. Econometric tools including spatial autocorrelation methods and the gravitational model of international trade were used. The presence of convergence was detected, its rate and the main determinants were revealed. As our results show, the influence of geographical distances between countries on the intensity of trade relations is insignificant. The forecast of economic growth rates for 2020 was constructed.
