As part of the study of the legal regulation of the digital educational environment, the author analyzes this project through the prism of amendments made to Article 71 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation concerning the creation of a unified legal framework for education in the Russian Federation. The article states that the creation of a unified legal framework for the education system should be based on existing programs of a strategic nature in the development of the information society and the digital economy.
