Динамика и дифференциация самооценок профессионализма
The article examines the dynamic analysis of the professional self-esteem of diff erent social groups in Russia. The analysis is based on the data provided by the Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey — Higher School of Economics (RLMS-HSE). The study revealed an overall positive trend in the professional self-esteem in relation to the changes in the social well-being of the Russian people in the post- Soviet period. These changes to a varying degree aff ected all groups of the employed and temporarily unemployed. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the dynamics of age related specifi cs of the professional self-esteem, that revealed a signifi cant but diminishing positive connection between the professional self-esteem and age. The fastest growth of the professional self-esteem is observed at the young age and it starts to decrease only by the old age. With all other conditions being equal, workers with the higher level of education and work experience rate higher their professionally signifi cant qualities and skills. The more complete and accurate is the correlation between the speciality of the work to the received education, the higher is the professional self-esteem. The study reveals an important and stable, but a fairly moderate correlation between the professional self-esteem and satisfaction with the work in general and with its certain aspects.
