Scientists Create Open Dataset for Studying Concentration
A team of Russian researchers, including scientists from HSE University–St Petersburg, has developed the first open multimodal dataset containing recordings of brain activity, heart function, and video observations to help researchers understand what happens in the human brain during deep concentration. In the future, the dataset could accelerate the development of neural interfaces, rehabilitation technologies, and AI systems. The article has been published in Scientific Data.

Характеристика цифрового поведения пользователей систем совместного потребления в социальных сетях на основе тематического моделирования

The paper aims to analyze and characterize customers of the collaborative consumption systems (CCS) based on their social network behavior. The empirical object of the study includes posts published by customers of the most popular in Russia CCSs in their social network profiles. The sample includes 24 000 profiles. As a result, 13 main topics were identified to describe the users’ interests. They reveal the differences in digital behavior of various CCSs users in social networks. Utilizing the data on digital consumer behavior creates new opportunities to improve the recommendation services, provide timely adaptation of product proposition, and adjust interaction with customers
