Возможности применения информационных технологий при изучении парламентской элиты позднеимперской России
The political elite of late Imperial Russia became more complicated due to the inclusion of the State Duma deputies and the elected members of the State Council in its membership. Study of the Fourth Duma deputies with the repeated parliamentary status, who constituted a distinct sub-elite group, was conducted on the basis of the Internet-portal “Parliamentary history of Late Imperial Russia”. The research is based on the interdisciplinary approach, which suggested applying historical computing methods, like descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and faceted classification. The study showed that the cohort of deputies with the repeated parliamentary status was more homogeneous in terms of socio-cultural characteristics than the cohort of newly elected deputies. The major differences in the socio-cultural portrait of those groups were revealed in the estate their members belonged to, level of education and pre-parliamentary occupation.
