This article devoted to the analysis of the most significant elementary textbook in Medieval Korea - Tongmong sŏnsŭp. It is an ideal example for the traditional way of the annotating the Hanmun text written in kugyŏl. There were two ŏnhae versions of this text – 1791 editions and 1797 edition. Our analysis is based on the parallel comparison of all three versions of the book and shows us the possible rendering of the Chinese text.
