This paper presents intermediate results of implementation Internet-portal for corpus research of academic English. The requirements are formulating; the architecture of the solution is presented, and the technological approaches to solving the problems are described. Architecture of the portal assumes collaborative performance of the heterogeneous components: the corpora storage, the component for identifying stylistic markers, the statistics collection component, the visualization component, the user interaction component etc. Moreover, the architecture should involve the opportunity for the addition of new components. In this work, special attention is paid to the storage and indexing of the large amount of textual information, the integration of portal components based on the service-oriented architecture and technologies that support the portal on the client side.
