Оценка устойчивости денежного компонента прибыли российских компаний
Научно-технические ведомости Санкт-Петербургского государственного политехнического университета. Экономические науки. 2013. № 2 (168). С. 110–118.
The research shows the results of empirical analysis of the persistence of cash component of Russian companies’ earnings. Investors, as a rule, don't divide earnings into components. Therefore, managers quite often overestimate the accrual component of earnings for an embellishment of financial statements. Allocation and evaluation of earnings components allows to forecast financial position of the companies and to make the correct investment decisions. The research results demonstrate that more than a half of Russian companies free cash flow are payments to owners or treasury stock payments. Also Russian companies continue to increase debts even if they have a positive free cash flow.
