Approaches to the development of rational (aspiring to optimal) methods for constructing plans for executing applied computing tasks on real parallel computing systems (execution skeletons), as well as an instrumental software environment for implementing such methods (strategies) are analyzed. The criteria and parameters for optimizing planning methods are proposed. The results of application of some developed strategies for constructing rational plans for the execution of parallel programs are presented.
