The paper considers WBAN and intersegment WBAN communication approaches. At present, WBAN is rapidly developing. So, it’s necessary to study not only WBAN standards and technologies, but also WBAN to WBAN interaction, especially using IBC. In this work the IEEE 802.15.6 standard is considered, BodyCom technology has been studied. Practical tasks that can be solved by IBC WBAN intersegment communication are described. We offer a new approach to intersegment communication in IBC WBAN, where different WBAN are represented as segments of a single network. The behavior of the approach at different OSI model layers is considered. Research can be useful in applications such as medicine, sports, education, entertainment and Internet of Things.
