‘Science Is Universal-It Knows No Borders
Fuad Aleskerov, Tenured Professor and Director of the International Centre of Decision Choice and Analysis at HSE University, together with his colleagues, has developed methods of network analysis in bibliometrics that have made it possible to identify patterns in the appearance and citation of publications in academic journals, as well as their influence on each other. When one or a number of studies are frequently cited by a wide range of journals, this is an indicator that the research is of high quality. By contrast, extensive cross-citation within a limited group of journals increases the likelihood of identifying a network of predatory publications.

At the heart of the book all-round consideration of a problem EMC of vehicles lays. From system positions questions of a noise stability and noise emission are stated. The review of the basic test methods of motor transport is given. Parametres EMC an onboard electric equipment are resulted. Methods and means of multilevel maintenance EMC are in detail considered.  The attention not only is paid to vehicles with hydrocarbonic engines, but also with alternative power units. In the book the big emphasis on problems of stability of an electric equipment to electromagnetic influences is placed. The material mentions questions EMC not only civil motor transport, but also a special purpose. Various variants of maintenance to parametres EMC of vehicles are resulted. The book will be useful to the technical experts, occupied in educational, research, industrial and other spheres of the automobile industry. It is possible to recommend the edition as the manual to bachelors, masters and post-graduate students of corresponding directions.

Algorithmic overlaps as thermodynamic variables: from local to cluster Monte Carlo dynamics in critical phenomena
Pilé I., Deng Y., Shchur L., / Series arXiv "math". 2026. No. 2604.10254.
We investigate the spatial overlap of successive spin configurations in Markov chain Monte Carlo simulations using the local Metropolis algorithm and the Svendsen-Wang and Wolff cluster algorithms. We examine the dynamics of these algorithms for two models in different universality classes: the Ising model and the Potts model with three components. The overlap of two ...

Doping dependence of low-energy charge collective excitations in high-Tc cuprates
Kagan M., Silkin V. M., Efremov D. V., / Series arXiv "math". 2024. No. 2411.12836.
In this study, we analyze the dielectric function of high-Tc cuprates as a function of doping level, taking into account the full energy band dispersion within the CuO2 monolayer. In addition to the conventional two-dimensional (2D) gapless plasmon mode, our findings reveal the existence of three anomalous branches within the plasmon spectrum. Two of these branches ...

In this paper, we applied a deep neural network to study the issue of knowledge transferability between statistical mechanics models. The following computer experiment was conducted. A convolutional neural network was trained to solve the problem of binary classification of snapshots of the Ising model's spin configuration on a two-dimensional lattice. During testing, snapshots of ...

Mozolenko V., Fadeeva Marina, Shchur L., / Series arXiv "math". 2024. No. 2405.10865.
The development of new algorithms for simulations in physics is as important as the development of new analytical methods. In this paper we present a comparison of the recently developed microcanonical population annealing (MCPA) algorithm with the rather mature Wang-Landau algorithm. The comparison is performed on two cases of the Potts model exhibiting a first ...

Problem statement: As the number of electronic devices grows, it can become difficult for them to work together. The current trend towards miniaturization motivates developers of electronic equipment to design components so that there is a minimum distance between them. However, small distances produce serious coupling issue for the device operation. More specifically, when electronic ...

Depending on the anisotropy, such a metal may change its ...

Charge transport in amorphous semiconductors having spatially correlated exponential density of states (DOS) has been considered for the arbitrary behavior of the correlation function of random energies. Average carrier velocity is exactly calculated for the quasi-equilibrium (nondispersive) transport regime. For the symmetric exponential DOS with exponential tails for low and high energies and non-positive correlation ...

Switching thresholds for multistable systems under strong external perturbation
Klinshov V., Некоркин В. И., Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation 2020 Vol. 83 P. 105067
Multistability is a common feature of various dynamical systems which manifests itself as the possibility to demonstrate various behaviors for the same parameter values. These behaviors or states of the system must be stable against weak perturbation in order to be observable in real life. However, a strong enough perturbation may destroy a certain state ...

Do we rely on good-enough processing in reading under auditory and visual noise?
Zdorova N., Malyutina S., Laurinavichyute A. et al., /. 2021.
Noise, as part of real-life communication flow, degrades the quality of linguistic input and affects language processing. According to predictions of the noisy-channel model, noise makes comprehenders rely more on word-level semantics and good-enough processing instead of actual syntactic relations. However, empirical evidence of such qualitative effect of noise on sentence processing is still lacking. For the first time, ...

Activity Stabilization in a Population Model of Working Memory by Sinusoidal and Noisy Inputs
Novikov N., Zakharov D., Moiseeva V. et al., Frontiers in Neural Circuits 2021 Vol. 15 Article 647944
According to mechanistic theories of working memory (WM), information is retained as stimulus-dependent persistent spiking activity of cortical neural networks. Yet, how this activity is related to changes in the oscillatory profile observed during WM tasks remains a largely open issue. We explore joint effects of input gamma-band oscillations and noise on the dynamics of ...

Stochastic bursting in unidirectionally delay-coupled noisy excitable system
Пиковский А., Chaos 2019 Vol. 29 No. 041103 P. 1–9
We show that “stochastic bursting” is observed in a ring of unidirectional delay-coupled noisy excitable systems, thanks to the combinational action of time-delayed coupling and noise. Under the approximation of timescale separation, i.e., when the time delays in each connection are much larger than the characteristic duration of the spikes, the observed rather coherent spike ...

Munyaev V., Smirnov L., Kostin V. et al., New Journal of Physics 2020 Vol. 22 Article 023036
We study populations of globally coupled noisy rotators(oscillators with inertia) allowing a nonequilibrium transition from a desynchronized state to a synchronous one (with the nonvanishing order parameter). The newly developed analytical approaches resulted in solutions describing the synchronous state with constant order parameter for weakly inertial rotators, including the case of zero inertia, when the ...
