This article contains a methodical approach to the construction of risk‑management framework in payment systems, developed in accordance with the provisions of international standards in the field of risk management, as well as documents of the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructure at the Bank for International Settlements concerning risk management in payment systems. Developed in accordance with the approach proposed in the article, risk-management framework contributes to efficient and effective risk management in payment systems. Under this article, the development and implementation of risk‑management framework are considered in terms of their full or partial absence, first of all with the operator of the payment system, as well as other subjects of the payment system.
