This article considers one of the possible ways of assessing note-taking/note-making skills which are used as a means of bridging the stages of processing new information and creating new texts on its basis. A justification for the necessity of this integrative skill assessment is given. The fragments of a specification and of a sample test are provided as an illustrative material.
