WWW '26: Proceedings of the ACM Web Conference 2026
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 35th edition of the Web Conference to be held on June 29 – July 3, 2026, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Following discussions with our partners and key stakeholders, we have taken the decision to postpone the ACM Web Conference 2026, initially planned for April 2026. This decision allowed us to provide attendees with additional time to arrange safe travels. It also enabled us to further align the program, partnerships and delivery in a way that reflects the scale, ambition and quality of the ACM Web Conference.
Since its inception in 1989, the World Wide Web has transformed the way we live, work, and connect. The Web Conference, formerly known as the International World Wide Web Conference (WWW), was established in 1994. Since then, it has been the premier forum for presenting and discussing advances in research, development, standards, and applications shaping the future of the Web. Starting in 2022, the conference became an ACM event.
The conference series has been, for more than three decades, the primary venue for the introduction of some of the most fundamental Web technologies, such as Google’s PageRank, introduced in the “Anatomy of a Large-Scale Web Search Engine” published by Sergei Brin and Larry Page in 1998. This year again we are happy to see scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers and commercial ventures gather at this conference to present and discuss their research results and embracing the GenAI disruption for the Web.
