Integration Platform for Authentication in Physical Access Control Systems
The work is devoted to the development of an integration platform for connecting a single authentication point with Physical Access Control Systems (PACS). The functional requirements for the integration platform have been established. The architecture of the integration platform has been prototyped, integration points have been designed, database relationships have been described, and the structure of data types has been formed. To ensure that the platform operates reliably and efficiently, a dedicated test bench has been developed, facilitating thorough operational testing that verifies the system’s performance and reliability. A practical model of a turnstile, built on an Arduino UNO, has been successfully integrated with the authentication platform, demonstrating a fully operational scenario where users can access the PACS using OAuth 2.0. This advanced authentication method significantly enhances security measures while simultaneously improving the overall user experience in physical access management systems, making it a vital addition to modern security infrastructure.
