Искусственный интеллект в России: проблема доверия
Today, the introduction of artificial intelligence is already widely practiced, as this technology is expected to have an impact on almost all areas of human life. Nevertheless, the issues of security, privacy, and the speed of development of this process remain open. The article discusses the peculiarities of the introduction and use of artificial intelligence in the Russian society in the context of the problem of trust in digital technologies. In general, Russia remains a country of “techno-optimists”: digital solutions are perceived favorably by society. However, when it comes to sharing personal data with the state, society has mixed reactions. Based on statistical data and public opinion polls, we identify the key reasons for trust (and non-trust) of AI in Russia. As a result of analyzing the correlation between the peculiarities of AI functioning and digital literacy of citizens, the conclusion is made about the need to raise public awareness about the principles of AI operation, and the question is raised about the exploitation of public trust in strengthening control over the observance of citizens' rights within the framework of the introduction of artificial intelligence.
