Постановка задачи распределения преподавательской нагрузки в вузе
As the number of students enrolled in higher education programs increases every year, so does the total number of students in the institution. In turn, the teaching staff remains virtually unchanged. This proves that the growth rate of teaching staff is disproportionate to the growth rate of the number of students simultaneously enrolled. This difference leads to the need to increase the teaching load in each discipline studied by students, which also increases the time required to check the elements of control. Often, this requires teachers to work 24/7, uncompensated overtime appears, which can lead to a reduction in the quality of educational services provided. The article reveals the problem of sub-optimal distribution of staff workload in a higher education institution. The task is to arrange the process of workload distribution in such a way as to ensure a more even workload of teachers, to reduce the risk of reducing the quality of services provided. Solving this problem will help to relieve the employee of an educational institution responsible for workload distribution, will help to identify the lack of competence of existing teachers to teach the planned disciplines for future academic years.
